Ian Baldwin, retail consultant, was born in England and has worked in the nursery industry since he was 16, holding a B.S. in Horticulture from London University and an M.B.A. from Medway College in England. He has lived in California since 1986 and is an American citizen. For more than 25 years, Ian has consulted for companies in North America and Europe on garden center layout, marketing, merchandising, "retail detail," strategic planning and the financial criteria necessary for a profitable operation. He's the founder of ANLA's "Garden Center University."
